Consultancy

The main service we offer from DJ Associates is our own time and expertise. See our online portfolio for case studies of how we have facilitated online group communications, developed online training courses and information services.

By virtue of our leading role in a number of development projects, we've kept ahead of the game in establishing a track record with group communications technologies that are only now becoming more widely adopted. Email Forums

We can set up email forums (electronic mailing lists) for public or private group discussion over the Internet (powered by Lyris software). These lists can be configured in a number of ways:

• with various levels of security, to restrict unwanted messages (e.g. from people who are not "members" of a list)
• unmoderated, where messages are automatically forwarded to all list members, or moderated, where one person checks all messages first
• with a web archive, so that there is an accessible "group record" of all proceedings (see example)

This service is normally delivered through the Wired Workplace Company, one of our joint ventures.

E-learning and Group Working Online

We have developed four 20-30 hour training course in group communications using online technologies, accredited through the Open College Network (at "Level 3"). These courses are delivered as open learning materials via the Internet, with tutor support and communications with other learners also carried out online.

The main route for doing this course is via the Living IT curriculum, for which registrations are being handled by the Sheffield College. We can also adapt the course for in-house use to match your particular requirements.

All DJ Associates staff are trained and accredited as online tutors, through the Learning to Teach Online programme.
